SOOID / THE INGREDIENT GUIDE

Six ingredients. One clear daily serving.

The amounts below are per three capsules, the full daily serving. Adults chew one capsule three times a day after meals. Do not exceed that serving.

Ceramosides™ — 70 mg
A wheat-derived lipid ingredient studied for skin hydration, elasticity and crow’s-foot depth. The main study tested the ingredient, not finished SOOID.
Lutein — 10 mg
A carotenoid in the formula. Ingredient research studied lutein with a specific zeaxanthin-isomer blend for skin tone. That blend and population are not interchangeable with every finished product.
Zeaxanthin — 2.1 mg
A carotenoid included alongside lutein. The cited combination study used 2 mg of a specific isomer blend; the SOOID label amount is 2.1 mg.
Astaxanthin — 4 mg
An algae-derived carotenoid. A small ingredient study examined UV-induced skin changes at 4 mg daily. This does not make SOOID a replacement for sunscreen.
Vitamin A — 120 mcg
A nutrient involved in normal skin and cellular function. A dietary supplement is not equivalent to applying a topical retinoid.
Biotin — 450 mcg
A nutrient involved in normal body function. Evidence does not establish that this SOOID serving thickens hair or causes regrowth.
Read the evidence in context. Kern et al. (2024) randomized 72 women with dry skin across oil, powder and placebo groups. The 24-woman oil group took 70 mg Ceramosides™ daily for 56 days. Its average changes from baseline were +18.5% hydration, +11.2% elasticity and −9.2% crow’s-foot depth. These are not percentage differences versus placebo or results of a finished-SOOID trial.

Three questions for any supplement study

  1. Was the exact ingredient and form tested?
  2. Does the daily amount match the research?
  3. Who took part, what was measured and what was the comparison?

One study cannot guarantee a personal outcome. In the Ceramosides™ study, improvements were not maintained at the follow-up 56 days after stopping. The ingredient supplier sponsored the research.
